Government Agencies

Government agencies must be good stewards of taxpayers’ dollars. They are often serving our most vulnerable communities. 

SHG Advisors has worked with several government agencies at the county, state, and federal levels: 

Federal: We supported the development of a national service plan for the Obama Administration at the Corporation for National & Community Service. 

State: We facilitated a steering committee to develop recommendations to improve Colorado’s crisis system, managed by the Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS). We also developed a 3-year strategic plan for MINDSOURCE, also housed within CDHS.

We developed a strategic plan for the Colorado Safe Routes to School program, housed within the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT). We developed toolkits for the Colorado Workforce Development Council, 

County: We coordinated the service delivery of participating one-stop partners and service delivery providers at the workforce centers for Arapahoe/Douglas, Jefferson, and Larimer Counties in Colorado. We also served in this role for the Colorado Rural Workforce Consortium, which includes 54 of Colorado’s 64 counties.

We developed a plan that outlined the long-term vision and operational needs for the Teller County Mental Health Alliance.
